Overview
Provide contract and tender management support to be in line with relevant prescripts developed. Administer open and close tender processes in compliance with SCM policies and Treasury Regulations.
Requirements
- , as well as applications received late, will not be considered
- The Department does not accept applications via fax
- Failure to submit all the requested documents will result in the Application not being considered during the selection process
- All succ essful candidates will be expected to enter into an employment contract and a performance agreement within 3 months of appointment, as well as be required to undergo a security clearance three (3) months after appointments
- All shortlisted candidates, incl uding the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments
- One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment

Responsibilities
- Provide contract and tender management support to be in line with relevant prescripts developed
- Administer open and close tender processes in compliance with SCM policies and Treasury Regulations
- Procure goods and services in line with relevant prescripts in the department
- Provide inventory management support to ensure effectiveness and efficient in the Trading Entity
- Render assets management support to comply with Departmental policies
