Overview
Ensure Safe Boiler operation in the hospital, ensure correct usage and flow of chemicals, monitor the steam pressure constantly, monitoring the water/fuel level in the boiler, ensure adherence and compliance with Occupational and Health Standards and the O ccupational Health and Safety Act, perform administrative functions and supervise Boiler Assistant.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate recognised National Steam Certificate and Experience as Boiler Assistant
- Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of Occupational and Safety Act (OHS)
- Skills- planning, organising, verbal and written communication skills
- Candid ate must be willing to work overtime and be on standby
