Overview
Provide quality comprehensive primary health care by promoting preventive, curative and rehabilitative services for the clients and community. Asses, diagnose, threat dispense according to guidelines and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality comprehensive primary health care by promoting preventive, curative and rehabilitative services for the clients and community
- Asses, diagnose, threat dispense according to guidelines and protocols
- Increase access to the health care servic es through DMOC (Differentiated Model of Care)
- Participate in quality improvement programmes thus contribute to accreditation as Norms and standards compliant
- Proper utilization and safeguarding of all allocated resources
- Compile daily statistics, analy se and submit monthly reports timeously as required
- Able to plan and organize own work that of support personnel to ensure continuity of care
- Motivate staff regarding development in order to increase level of expertise and assist patients and families to develop a sense of self care
- Maintain and keep all patients documents as per SANC regulations
- Mentor and support junior nurses and support structures allocated in the unit
- Relieve in the unit in the absence of OMN
- Maintain constructive working relationship with nursing and all other relevant stakeholders
