Overview
Ensure an efficient and effective transport service for Primary Health Care and Health Programs at Khayelitsha/Eastern Sub Structure Office. Conduct routine inspecting of the GG vehicles and timely reporting of defects.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience: Appropriate driving experience
- Inherent requirement of the job: Valid code (B/EB) driver’s licence
- Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP)
- Willingness to work overtime
- Compete ncies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to work independently and be accountable and responsible with good interpersonal skills
- Be physically fit and capable of performing duties that require physical exertion
- Physical fit to perform transportation duties
- Knowledge of Transport Regulations and Circular no 4 of 2000
- Knowledge of routine, maintenance, Inspections for defects on vehicles and safe driving skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure an efficient and effective transport service for Primary Health Care and Health Programs at Khayelitsha/Eastern Sub Structure Office
- Conduct routine inspecting of the GG vehicles and timely reporting of defects
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean and t idy
- Ensure vehicles used are kept clean and tidy
- Execute transport duties in relation to a scheduled roster
- Ensure an effective daily transport administration duty is rendered and provide support to Supervisor
