Overview

General Cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, and corridors. Prepare and cleaning of the meeting boardrooms.

Requirements

  • ABET/Standard 8/Grade 10 Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety
  • Departmental policies
  • Knowledge of food services and accommodation services will be added advantage
  • Must be able to work in a team under press ure
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Ability to read and write
  • At least one -year relevant work experience in a cleaning environment

Responsibilities

  • General Cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, and corridors
  • Prepare and cleaning of the meeting boardrooms
  • Operate and care for equipment and are responsible for reporting faulty equipment
  • Prepare refreshments for meetings and refresh the boardrooms dur ing the lunch break
  • Washing and clearing crockeries before and after meeting
  • Ensure that cleaning equipment is taken care of and cleaned after use
  • Responsible for general cleanliness and hygiene
  • Assist in receiving storage and packing of stock and stocktaking
  • Work according to working schedules issued by supervisor
  • Assist supervisor with other tasks related to cleaning services
