Overview
Clean Windows, floors, dust and polish office furniture, consulting rooms, passages/corridors, emptying of all bins, cleaning of toilets and any other area in the offices building under the supervision of a supervisor. Operate and use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Requirements
- Grade 10 or ABET Level 4
- Able to read and write
- Working experience as cleaner in the public service will be an added advantage
- Good interpersonal relations, Ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles
- Be Able to deliver service under pressure
- Skills And Competencies: Knowledge of cleaning techniques (sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, polishing, disinfecting, waxing) for floors, offices, boardrooms, and restrooms
- Proper application, and storage of cleaning chemicals and detergents
Responsibilities
- Clean Windows, floors, dust and polish office furniture, consulting rooms, passages/corridors, emptying of all bins, cleaning of toilets and any other area in the offices building under the supervision of a supervisor
- Operate and use cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Safekeeping and handling of variety of aids in the cleaning of the premises
- Keep the cleaning material and equipment clean and safe
- Report defects noticed
- Expected to carry out any other duty as instructed by the supervisor
