PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION: KWAZULU NATAL
Overview
Provide education and training to student nurses - theory and clinical. Implement assessment strategies to determine students’ competencies. Coordinate clinical learning exposure to students between college and clinical areas. Conduct clinical accompaniment of students. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance programmes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and build a sound public relationship within the Department. Exercise supervision and control of students. Support the mission and promote the image of the College.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
- A Diploma / Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse
- A post registration qualification in Nursing Education registered with the South African Nursing Council
- Current Registration with the South African Nursing Council for the year 2026
- Unendorsed valid Code EB driver’s licence (code 08)
- Minimum of four (4) years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration as a Professional Nurse and registration/qualification as a Midwife / Accoucheur for Grade 1
- Minimum of fourteen (14) years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration as a Professional Nurse and registration/qualification as a Midwife / Accoucheur with the South African Nursing Council in General Nursing for Grade 2, with ten (10) years in Nursing Education
