Overview
Development and implementation of basic patient care. Provide basic clinical nursing care.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Experience: Grade 1: None
- Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Will be required to work shifts, including night duty, weekends, and public holidays
- Be prepared to assist in another department other than where you are placed, according to operational requirements
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multid isciplinary team
- Enhance patient care through the implementation of SOP’s, policies, and guidelines
