Overview
Animal Health Services and Disease Control. Epidemiology and Data management.
Requirements
- An appropriate Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc/BVMCh or equivalent qualification) recognised by the South African Veterinary Council
- Compulsory registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
- A minimum of 1 year post qualification experience
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving license
- Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Extensive fieldwork and exposure to infectious diseases
- Ability to work in high-pressure outbreak environments
- Physical mobility and ability to conduct inspecti ons and investigations
- Availability for after -hours and emergency response
- Skills in the following: Computer literacy
- Financial Management
- Statistical
- Research
- Analytical
- Communication
- Interpretation
