Overview
Group Internal Auditor is transforming into a data-enabled, AI-powered assurance function. We are seeking a Group Internal Auditor (AI Enablement) to help accelerate the implementation of our AI strategy, focused on enhancing audit quality, risk coverage, productivity, and stakeholder value through the responsible use of AI. Working within a secure enterprise AI environment leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, Copilot Studio, and GitHub Copilot, you will partner with audit, risk, technology, and data teams to design and deliver innovative AI solutions across risk assessment, audit planning, fieldwork, quality assurance, and reporting.
Requirements
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) - Preferred
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) - Advantageous
- Honours degree in Internal Auditing, Data Science, Information Systems, AI, or Risk Management
- Master's degree (MBA, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, or Information Technology) would be advantageous
- 5+ years' experience delivering analytics and AI solutions
- 2+ years' hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, agentic AI, or related technologies
- Strong knowledge of enterprise AI architecture, machine learning, data engineering, MLOps, and AI governance
- Proven experience delivering AI solutions within a regulated financial services or banking environment
- Ability to independently engage stakeholders and produce high-quality design, testing, governance, and implementation documentation
- Experience in internal audit, risk assessment, assurance automation, or control testing will be highly advantageous
