Overview
The Internal Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the needs of existing clients, handling new sales inquiries, and assisting the external sales team by effectively marketing the company’s brand. This role involves a focus on customer retention and enhancing sales through positive engagement and professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Perform administration of reseller quotations.
- Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product/service information, support, and pricing details.
- Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products/services sold.
- Receive, manage, or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of products/services.
- Respond to Account Manager/Reseller requests for quotations within 2 hours.
- Ensure accurate entry of quotes in the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Comprehend and engage with new systems introduced by the company.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions applicable to quotes.
- Manage the quote and order process by liaising with Vendors, Sales Specialists, Brand Teams, and Resellers.
- Revise quotes as needed due to changes in specifications or pricing.
- Escalate pricing and discount queries to Vendors when necessary.
- Compile and distribute backlog reports as required.
- Perform general administration duties related to the position.
- Maintain a brand directory with detailed quotes and information for easy reference.
- Provide quote support on designated brands for internal staff.
- Develop product and process knowledge by attending training and webinars.
