PMG Mining has launched a 12-month Engineering Internship Programme in the Tsantsabane region of the Northern Cape. The internship is designed for unemployed South African graduates in Electrical and Industrial Engineering, providing them with essential practical workplace experience in a mining environment.
Requirements
- South African citizens who are currently unemployed
- Electrical Engineering applicants: National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, S4 with all modules completed, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering applicants: National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, S4 with all modules completed, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Not currently participating in another internship programme
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work in a mining environment
- Preference will be given to applicants from the Tsantsabane region
Responsibilities
- Work on engineering projects and safety systems
- Engage in maintenance planning and operational processes
- Collaborate with qualified professionals in mining operations
- Learn industry reporting systems and professional workplace practices
