The Shoprite Group has opened its Supply Chain Graduate Programme 2026/2027, recruiting graduates in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Industrial Engineering into its Distribution Centre Trainee Manager pipeline. Successful applicants join as Distribution Centre Trainee Managers and rotate through different supply chain functions, including warehousing, inventory management and distribution operations.
Requirements
- South African citizen with a completed relevant qualification
- BCom Supply Chain Management, BCom Logistics Management, BEng Industrial Engineering, BCom Operations Research, BSc Operations Research or a closely related qualification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy and basic business analysis ability
- Planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to be based at one of the advertised distribution centre locations
- Willingness to work shifts typical of a distribution and warehousing environment
Responsibilities
- Full-time, structured placement as a Distribution Centre Trainee Manager
- Rotation through warehousing, logistics, inventory management and distribution functions
- Coaching and mentoring aimed at developing leadership and people-management capability
- Exposure to operational data analysis and continuous improvement projects
