Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Trainee Manager for our store in the Klerksdorp, North West region. You will learn overall store operations under direction and supervision of a store manager.
Requirements
- Grade 12/ Matric
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in store retail management disciplines including stock management, cash, reporting, expense control and customer service
- Computer literate – MS Office
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable transport
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Ensure processing of items, stock flow to sales floor, and management of shrinkage.
- Sales Floor & Receiving: Assist with planning and maintenance of promotional stock displays, goods receiving duties, and transaction integrity.
- Sales Targets: Assist with achieving store sales targets and support management in promotional activities.
- Point of Sale Operations and Finance: Assist with daily cash-ups, monitoring store expenses, and ensuring transaction integrity.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and encourage new loyalty signups.
- HR Process Support: Assist with people administration duties and HR processes.
- Trainee Programme Adherence: Participate in learning opportunities and complete required assessments.
