GautengExplore the starting routes, skills, qualifications, career families and locations visible in SpanSam's current South African vacancy inventory — using a deliberately conservative definition of “entry-level”.
Snapshot: 14 Sept 2026 · 1389 current deduplicated opportunities analysed.
SpanSam counts graduate programmes and learnerships as structured starting routes. Outside those categories, a vacancy must clearly identify an internship or trainee route, or its Requirements must explicitly state no prior experience, 0–1 years experience, entry-level status or fresh-graduate eligibility.
We do not automatically classify “junior” jobs, ordinary 1–2 year experience requirements, or vacancies with missing experience wording as entry-level.
This reflects SpanSam source/employer classification, not an official national employment measure.
These are manually curated SpanSam Career Path title families represented inside the conservative entry-level subset.
160 of 173 entry-level opportunities (92%) contain usable structured Requirements. Skill signals below are counted only from those Requirements — not from job descriptions, responsibilities or related listings.
If a vacancy mentions more than one qualification level, SpanSam records the highest one observed in Requirements. Silence is not interpreted as “no degree required”.
This view is descriptive only. The entry-level classifier itself does not use a generic one-year lower bound; it requires the explicit evidence described above.
A small, mixed sample of live opportunities that currently meet the conservative classifier. Use the source listing to confirm eligibility and application details.

Entry-level historical tracking is accumulating from 14 Sept 2026. Seven-, 30- and 90-day comparisons will appear only when a suitable prior snapshot exists.
This report analyses current deduplicated opportunities indexed by SpanSam. It describes SpanSam's inventory and is not a census of every entry-level vacancy in South Africa.
Programme categories and explicit entry-level evidence determine inclusion. Skills, qualifications, experience, registrations and licence signals are taken from structured vacancy Requirements where available. SpanSam does not infer “no experience required” or “no degree required” from missing information.
Counts can change as employers publish or close vacancies, source feeds change, or duplicate listings are resolved. Historical comparisons only appear when an appropriate prior daily snapshot exists.
Current data quality: 160 of 173 classified opportunities (92%) contain usable structured Requirements.
