Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation related to municipal infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Correspondence: Handle correspondence, emails, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and project timelines.
  • Budget Support: Assist with budget tracking, financial documentation, and procurement processes.
  • Information Dissemination: Distribute information to relevant departments and individuals.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Municipal Infrastructure team.
  • Filing and Record Keeping: Maintain organized filing systems and ensure easy access to information.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of administrative processes.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualifications).
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of municipal infrastructure or government processes is a plus.
