Responsibilities:

  • Aircraft Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify technical issues and malfunctions on aircraft systems and components.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and maintenance procedures in accordance with aviation authorities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow engineers and technicians to ensure timely and efficient maintenance operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance work meets industry and company quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Completed recognized Apprenticeship and holds a trade certificate.
  • A Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge: Proficiency in aircraft systems, avionics, and powerplants.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety Conscious: Commitment to safety and adherence to aviation regulations.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in maintenance work.
