Job Description:
Are you a skilled Electro Mechanic seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Sasol is looking for 16 dedicated individuals to join them as Artisan Electro Mechanic Underground professionals. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the effective maintenance and reliability of electro-mechanical equipment, contributing to the stability and sustainability of our plant, mine, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform effective maintenance, repairs, and inspections on electro-mechanical equipment.
- Adhere to established procedures and codes to ensure compliance and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Utilize available resources to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
- Document work activities, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12/N3 with Maths, Science and English /Business English
- NQF 4 Trade Test (Valid EM Trade Test Certificate – Qualified EM/Millwright
- Experience: 0 – 5+ relevant years
- Occupational Trade Qualification/Certificate
