Overview
The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render revenue and expenditure services within the Department.
Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year B-Degree at NQF level 7 (equivalent or higher) in Financial/Management Accounting, Financial management or related field
- A minimum of 3 years relevant supervisory/ management accounting experience
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and monitor the In year monitoring system (IYM)
- Effective co-ordination, compilation and registration of the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and registration of the Adjusted budget process
- Completion of the Annual Financial Statements
- Appropriation statement
- Design, development and implementation of Management Accounting policies and procedures with regards to SCOA
- Review and maintain departmental tariff process for relevant programmes
- Managerial functions
