Bidvest Facilities Management, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join their team in Johannesburg. If you have a valid driver’s license, a Public Driver Permit (PDP), and possess excellent driving skills, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to their organization.
Role Purpose:
The Driver will be responsible for collecting and delivering documentation, merchandise, or equipment to customers using a company vehicle. They will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely transportation while maintaining professionalism and adhering to company policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Senior Certificate).
- Public Driver Permit (PDP).
- Ability to read maps, use GPS, and perform motor fault finding.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an office driver capacity.
- 1 year of relevant storeman experience.
Responsibilities:
- Read daily instructions for deliveries or collections.
- Collect company mail from the post office and deliver it to the respective office.
- Deliver and collect equipment, documentation, or petty cash from internal and external customers.
- Maintain a Logbook with tracking numbers for all deliveries and collections.
- Transport employees to other regional offices, as required.
- Maintain a Message-Book to accurately and timely relay messages to the office.
- Provide basic administrative support to staff, including photocopying, paper shredding, filing, and preparing document bundles/packs.
- Load paper and replace toners on office printer machines.
- Report any office machine or equipment malfunction for maintenance.
- Assist in the storeroom as needed.
