Job Description:
Faircape Group is currently seeking an experienced and licensed Bus Driver for their facility, Onrus Manor, located in the Southern Suburbs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting residents and/or staff, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
Duties:
Transporting Residents:
- Transporting staff by bus between designated parking points and the estate.
- Driving for the village and transporting residents on trips.
- Being available on an ad hoc basis for resident trips after hours and over weekends.
Safekeeping of Company Vehicle:
- Conduct daily checks on the vehicle to ensure cleanliness, proper tire condition, sufficient oil, and absence of scratches and dents. Report any anomalies to the manager.
- Abide by all traffic laws when driving the vehicle.
- Take care of the vehicle while driving and parking.
- Park the golf cart/bus in the allocated parking bay when not in use and during breaks.
Administration and Reporting:
- Assist the Client Services Officer with sorting newspapers and other post (notices) to be put in the postboxes.
- Complete driving logs and other reports as requested by the manager.
Experience:
- Relevant driving experience with passengers in the tourism industry or a retirement village is preferable.
- Previous experience driving a 23-seater passenger bus.

- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English.

Specific Requirements:
- Code 10 with a valid PDP – non-negotiable.
- Clear driving record.
- No criminal record.
- Solid and positive references.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday from 08h00 until 17h00.
Remuneration:
They are offering a daily rate from R 8,000 Cost to Company.
