Overview

RCL FOODS is a deeply rooted South African food manufacturer that produces some of the country’s most-loved brands. The Business Analyst will be joining the Group Services Division, based in Westville, reporting to the Applications Manager. The role involves delivering effective and sustainable solutions for RCL FOODS IT Systems/Applications, focusing on support, development, and design within the Sourcing and Manufacturing areas.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience within the relevant business function or information technology environment
  • SAP ERP Applications experience and Manufacturing (FMCG) is advantageous
  • Valid Code E drivers' license
  • Relevant systems exposure or certification for ERP system
  • Exposure to Best of Breed systems is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in business operations, processes, and systems
  • Engage with business during projects to document detailed business requirements
  • Assist in determining project scope and ensure full sign-off prior to implementation
  • Document functional specifications and verify technical design
  • Interact with business stakeholders to understand their problems and needs
  • Conduct and document tests according to agreed standards
  • Manage Help desk activities and track Change requests
  • Document testing required, results verification, and acquire release sign-off
  • Sustain and improve operational effectiveness by understanding business process needs
  • Support the Applications Manager in identifying IT application solutions
