Job Description:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an experienced Cleaner for their Centurion location. You will be responsible for keeping the store clean and neat in accordance with Dis-Chem’s sanitary standards. The store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen will be among the areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Cleaning experience of at least 6 months is required.
- Excellent command of the English language Fundamental customer service
- Additional area-specific language
- ready and willing to work retail hours
- Bilingual(Advantageous)
- Previous retail store cleaning experience (Advantageous)
Job Specification:
- Before the store opens, maintain a daily high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, shop floor, and communal areas.
- Create routines to ensure that all areas of the store are kept clean to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean canteen and restrooms that are always stocked with the necessary products.
- During operational hours, be available to clean up as needed.
- Ensure that the proper cleaning products and equipment are used for each job.
- When cleaning the floor, make sure the wet floor sign is up and visible from both ends.
- Be approachable, professional, and capable of assisting customers.
- Carry out duties in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.
