Job Description:
As a Cellular Associate at Mr Price Money, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer experiences within our cellular services department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting and activating cellular plans, devices, and related accessories that suit their needs. You’ll serve as a knowledgeable resource, educating customers about our cellular offerings and ensuring their questions are answered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the cellular department.
- Assist customers in choosing the right cellular plans, devices, and accessories based on their requirements.
- Perform SIM card activations, transfers, and device setups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues customers may encounter with their devices or plans.
- Educate customers about the features and benefits of various cellular products and services.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of cellular products and accessories.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the cellular industry.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall store targets and goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the cellular or electronics industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with customers.
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with cellular devices, plans, and accessories.
- Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and technical issues effectively.
- Positive attitude, a genuine passion for helping customers, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
- Bilingual proficiency may be advantageous depending on the location.
