Responsibilities:
As a CIT Driver/Crew member at Fidelity, your responsibilities will include:
- Cash transportation: Safely and securely transport cash, valuables, and high-value items between various locations.
- Security protocols: Adhere to strict security procedures and protocols to minimize the risk of theft or loss during transit.
- Vehicle maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the CIT vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any issues.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other crew members to execute assigned tasks and maintain a high level of security at all times.
- Client service: Provide professional and courteous service to clients during cash collections and deliveries, ensuring their satisfaction and trust.
- Incident response: Handle unexpected situations, including emergencies or attempted robberies, following established protocols to protect the crew, the cash, and the public.
Requirements:
To be considered for the position of CIT Driver/Crew, you should meet the following requirements:
- Valid driver’s license: Possess a valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- CIT experience: Previous experience as a CIT Driver/Crew member is highly preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of security procedures.
- Firearm competency: Hold a valid firearm competency certificate (business purpose) issued by the SAPS (South African Police Service).
- Fitness and health: Meet the physical requirements of the job, as CIT work may involve heavy lifting, physical exertion, and extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Clean criminal record: Have a clean criminal record, as verified through a comprehensive background check.
- Attention to detail: Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the correct handling and documentation of cash and valuables.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional and composed demeanor under pressure, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
