Job Description:
Macdonald’s Transport / Warehousing is currently seeking experienced and reliable Code 14 / EC Drivers to join their team. As a Code 14 Driver, you will play a crucial role in our transportation operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. This position involves long-distance driving and requires individuals with extensive experience in handling Side Tipper and Flatdeck Trailers.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 14 (EC) License.
- Valid PrDP (not expiring within 6 months).
- More than 5 years of Code 14 (EC) driving experience (Long Distance).
- S.A. Citizens only.
- Valid Passport (not expiring within 6 months).
- Knowledge of Side Tipper and Flatdeck Trailers.
- No Criminal Record.
- Medically Fit.
- 2 x Contactable References.
- SARS Letter (IT150) required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive Code 14 vehicles.
- Transport goods over long distances in adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Knowledgeable in handling Side Tipper and Flatdeck Trailers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the dispatch team.

- Drivers not meeting all of the above criteria will not be tested.

- You must be available to work at any depot as required by the company.
