Construction Plant Operator
Overview
Rand Water is looking for a candidate to support construction operations, distribution maintenance, and pipeline operations by utilizing mobile and crawler cranes, TLB's delivery and collection of goods/equipment in Rand Water's area of supply, utilizing heavy transport vehicles.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3
- Code 14 with Professional Driving Permit
- 1-2 years experience in Construction Plant Equipment operation preferably Mobile crane and Heavy Vehicles driving
Responsibilities
- Operating equipment
- Driving both rigid and articulated heavy vehicles
- Documentation
- General knowledge of rigging and slinging
- Mobile crane and truck mounted crane experience
- Reading and interpreting load chart, familiar with 8-ton to 100-ton crane tonnage category
