Cosmetic Frontshop Assistant - Cape Gate, Lifestyle Centre (New Store)
Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Cosmetic Frontshop Assistant for their new store at Cape Gate, Lifestyle Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding merchandising standards while providing excellent customer service at the point of sales in accordance with Dis-Chem policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum of 0 - 6 months retail experience
- Minimum 1 year experience within a retail environment in cosmetics
- Certification in retail or related field
- Computer literate – MS Office
Responsibilities
- Ensure that full ranges of products are always on the shelves and neatly presented
- Maintain stock on the shelves to ensure it has not reached its sell by date
- Restock merchandise when needed to ensure maximum sales
- Be responsible for accurate cash flow
- Ensure that all line voids and price changes are approved and signed by a supervisor
- Exchange merchandise for customers and accept return goods when authorized
- Transact all purchases and process payments, including cash, cards, vouchers, and coupons
- Ensure delivered stock is stored and packed in the correct space immediately
- Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous assistance and advice to all customers
- Follow up on out of stock queries from customers
- Ensure cash is placed in the drop safe according to Dis-Chem standard operating procedures
- Adhere to Dis-Chem security policies and procedures
- Ensure the use of your code and password is restricted to you and is changed regularly
- Ensure all outgoing stock/items are scanned and paid for
- Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations
