Overview
The Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for suitably qualified and competent individual to manage the safeguarding of provincial property, assets, employees, visitors and provide security support service in terms of outsource security services, procurement, monitoring and evaluation.
Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification)
- PSIRA registration minimum Grade B
- A minimum of 3 years middle management experience in a security environment
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the provisioning of security to safeguard the assets of the provincial government (employees/property/visitors)
- Facilitate the provisioning of outsourced security service providers to departments
- Plan and manage the work of and account for the overall performance of the Sub-directorate
- Financial Management
- People Management
