Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic Qualified - PBQ for their Dis-Chem Direct store. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safe and effective use of prescription medications.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant Qualification
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Responsibilities
- Dispensing medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
- Providing instructions regarding the correct use of medicine supplied
- Advising and assisting patients at the dispensary and self-medication counter
- Processing paperwork for accurate submission of claims to medical schemes
- Reporting on low/out of stock levels and stock errors to the dispensary manager
- Maintaining customer profiles on the system
