Dis-Chem Travelling Nail Technician (x8)

Job Description:

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in various locations across Gauteng are looking for an experienced Nail Technician who will travel to various salons in the chosen region.
You will be in charge of developing your own clientele and raising awareness of the various nail treatments available at Dis-Chem.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
Nail Technician Certificate (gel and acrylic)
At least 2 years’ technical experience in a professional beauty/nail salon environment
Willing and able to work retail hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer compliments and complaints should be reported.
Run monthly promotions
Ensure that monthly treatment and product goals are met.
Attend training to stay up to date on new products and treatment methods.
Ensure that new customers fill out their customer cards.
Completion and submission of accurate monthly reports
Follow Dis-Chem’s treatment and service payment procedures.
Ensure effective and accurate merchandising or promotions by managing stock levels in accordance with Dis-Chem procedures – report on short, damaged, and expired stock
Provide high-quality nail care and nail painting techniques to customers.

Competencies:

Have a general understanding of nail technology (proper product application techniques) as well as nail contraindications for nail treatments.
English proficiency is required.
Be a team player and maintain good customer relations.

Set deadlines and goals for yourself, such as daily treatment planning and administration and meeting monthly treatment goals.
Bilingual( Advantageous)
