The Divisional Route to Market Manager for General Trade is responsible for ensuring operational excellence in call cycles and monitoring activities to meet regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and optimized call cycles, monitoring activities, and revising schedules to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Drive branding and point-of-purchase standards for spaza shops, tailoring marketing campaigns to resonate with informal traders.
- Monitor and manage asset distribution and sales visibility, ensuring a strong presence of tier 3 brands and Tiger Brands products in spaza channels.
- Identify and execute sales-driving opportunities including themed initiatives and innovative NPD introductions.
- Support the deployment of innovative technology solutions to expand market penetration and improve customer experience.
- Ensure the effective development of tactical plans for the division aligned with customer and Group strategic objectives.
- Conduct quarterly reviews and management of relationships with platinum customers.
- Build strong trade relationships to assist in the execution of objectives and manage effective contract management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyse data and develop tactical plans to address gaps and enhance team performance.
- Compile, implement, and manage divisional forecasts and budgets, ensuring accuracy and effective monitoring.
