Job Description:
As a Cash in Transit Driver at G4S South Africa, you will play a crucial role in the safe and secure transportation of cash and other valuables. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of assets to various locations while maintaining the highest standards of security and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport cash and valuables to and from designated locations.
- Maintain a high level of security and vigilance during transit.
- Adhere to strict operational procedures and security protocols.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks and ensure proper maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Valid PSIRA Certification
- Valid PDP License
- CIT Certificate
- Valid SAPS Firearm Competency with Business Purposes
- Ability to work under pressure and in a high risk, fast-paced environment
- Ability to assess risk and act swiftly
- Working as part of a team
- Adherence to policies and procedures
