Job Description:
Eskom is currently seeking 12 skilled and experienced Fitting and Turning Artisans to join their team at the Matla Power Station. As an Artisan Fitting and Turning, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, and installation activities on various mechanical equipment and systems within the power station.
Minumum Requirements:
- Trade Certificate as an Artisan Fitter and Turner.
- Minimum of 2 years of apprenticeship training in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities as per plan safety regulation, preventative maintenance plan and maintenance procedure
- Conducting on job training
- Investigating unresolved and recuring defects
- Attending to equipment care and personal safety
- Conducting quality control inspections on work carried out and equipment
- Perform adhoc activities
- Attending meetings
