Eskom Technician Maintenance-Boiler

Closing Date : 27/03/2023

About Company:

Eskom converts natural-environment inputs such as coal, nuclear, fuel, diesel, water, and wind into more than 90% of the energy supplied to a diverse range of customers in South Africa and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
The System Operator (soon to be the Independent Transmission and System Market Operator, ITSMO, as the Transmission business continues to legally separate) must keep the power system’s frequency at 50Hz in order to balance electricity supply and demand in real time.

Eskom is one of the few remaining vertically integrated utilities that is linked to the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) via an interconnected grid, which helps to maintain grid stability.
Eskom relies on SADC members to keep transmission grids in their countries adequate and reliable.
