FIELD SUPERVISOR
Overview
The Field Supervisor is an operational leader responsible for fostering growth for clients, customers, and Smollan by managing relationships and resources effectively. This role involves identifying opportunities, overseeing day-to-day operations, and acting as a custodian of Smollan's people, ensuring efficient service delivery and implementation of company policies.
Responsibilities
- Communicate sales targets to the Field Force
- Increase volumes in the field
- Monitor sales to ensure sales targets are achieved
- Drive ad-hoc promotions to increase sales
- Develop alternative strategies to increase sales
- Ensure timely promotional activities are implemented
- Facilitate the implementation of promotion grids
- Ensure the field force is informed about time frames for promotions
- Communicate promotional activities to field force
- Ensure understanding of objectives of various promotions
- Ensure promotional activities have been implemented and maintained
- Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
- Monitor competitor’s new innovations
- Analyze and manage data integrity (Field comms)
- Control cell phone/telephone expenses
- Monitor and control fuel and vehicle expenses
- Manage resources for efficient field operations
- Implement systems to promote efficiency
- Ensure all company assets are maintained according to company policy
- Manage staff communication and feedback
- Identify and act on new business opportunities
- Share information with relevant stakeholders
- Conduct effective data collection and analysis
- Provide insights for improvements and new strategies for sales
- Monitor and evaluate new innovations
- Engage with clients, customers, and operational staff to ensure growth
- Compile regular reports to relevant stakeholders
- Conduct review meetings with clients
- Provide feedback via feedback platforms
