Financial Accountant
Overview
The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for business unit properties within the Shared Services Centre. This role involves managing month-end and year-end processes, tax and VAT submissions, financial statements, and payment approvals while also supporting audits and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- BCom degree with CTA (Honours) with completed articles, CA(SA)
- 6 years’ experience in a financial accounting and reporting environment
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and the legislative environment
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end processes
- Handle tax and VAT submissions
- Prepare financial statements
- Approve payments
- Support audits and regulatory requirements
