Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Compile annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to management
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and completed on time
- Support the annual budgeting process
- Assist with forecasting and financial planning activities
- Prepare and submit VAT, provisional tax, and income tax returns
- Manage SARS queries and compliance requirements
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
- Support and optimise financial processes and systems
- Support and guide junior finance team members
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
