Fitter and Turner - Pretoria West
Overview
RCL Foods is seeking a Fitter and Turner to join our Milling Division based in Pretoria West. The role reports into the Maintenance Manager. Purpose: To manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain mechanical components and equipment using precision fitting and machining techniques, supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant and production assets.
Requirements
- NQF Level 4 Grade 12 or Matric Equivalent Certificates or N (C) V Level 4
- Fitter and Turner Trade Test
- 4 – 5 years experience post trade experience
Responsibilities
- Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective repairs.
- Inspect, test, service, clean, lubricate, assemble, install, and repair mechanical systems and components.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify defects and performance deviations.
- Execute maintenance activities in accordance with established maintenance processes and standards.
- Comply with health, safety, environmental, food safety, and operational standards.
- Provide responsive technical support to production teams and internal stakeholders.
