- Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Science and English
- BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering
- South African Citizen (must be born in South Africa)
- Aged between 18 to 35
- Unemployed and available to be employed on a 12 month Fixed Term contract
- Not a previous YES beneficiary
- PC Literate
- Aspiration to learn new skills related to the relevant field
- Responsible and honest person
