Head of Finance
Overview
The Head of Finance will oversee the Bryte Financial reporting Department, ensuring compliance with Bryte and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing investments for the group, providing timely and accurate performance and budgetary reports, and establishing effective monitoring and control measures in line with ethical and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Effective management of all regulatory returns.
- Management of annual financial statements reporting requirements.
- Review project plans and ensure deliverables and milestones are met.
- Conduct regular feedback meetings to identify and address problem areas.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support for the financial team.
- Review and adjust statements to identify variances.
- Prepare feedback packs for Audit Committee meetings and submit for review.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial statutory reporting.
- Review financial statistics from consultants and address variances.
- Identify compliance contraventions and implement necessary controls.
- Research market best practices and legislative changes.
- Effectively manage the internal control environment.
- Investigate internal controls and ensure compliance.
- Assess audit reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage monthly and quarterly group reporting.
- Consolidate and forward reports to Bryte.
- Ensure reporting queries are resolved promptly.
- Manage financial systems to align reports with business needs.
- Provide ongoing feedback regarding projects and team development.
