IT Vendor Manager
Overview
The IT Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with IT vendors and service providers across the Group CIO organization, ensuring vendors deliver services and solutions in line with contractual commitments, performance expectations, cost controls, and strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in IT vendor management, service management, or commercial roles
- Experience working with managed service providers and technology vendors
- Experience in large or multi-vendor environments preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with IT vendors and service providers
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations
- Support contract management, renewals, and renegotiations
- Track vendors spend and support cost optimization
- Ensure vendors comply with Dis-Chem policies and regulatory standards
- Identify and manage vendor-related risks
- Act as the primary interface between vendors and internal IT
- Identify opportunities to rationalize vendors and improve service quality
