The Maintenance & Engineering Planner at Enaex is responsible for providing ongoing input and operational support into maintenance, shutdown, and project planning activities across business units. The role involves developing engineering and maintenance plans aligned with departmental priorities and ensuring optimal asset utilization and adherence to defined work management processes.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
- N3 or N4 or relevant qualification
- Relevant trade test certificate
- Diploma or related in Engineering, Planning, Project management or similar
- 5+ years maintenance planning in a work management process and operations environment
Responsibilities
- Complete engineering and maintenance planning by developing plans aligned with the work management process and departmental priorities
- Prepare and submit planning adherence schedules and departmental reports by collecting relevant data and compiling reports
- Implement new methodologies and technologies by participating in relevant training and applying learnings in operational planning
- Manage ordering of required spares and materials by processing orders and ensuring availability in stores
