Overview

The Maintenance Coordinator Instrumentation is responsible for ensuring safety, health, environment, and quality standards are met, identifying and assessing risks, and implementing control measures. The role involves maintaining customer satisfaction by investigating and diagnosing maintenance issues in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act, completing preventative maintenance tasks, and collaborating with other departments.

Requirements

  • National Diploma or N6 Certificate in Instrumentation with trade test in Instrumentation
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience in process and furnace industrial environment

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility
  • Apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk
  • Comply with SHEQ requirements
  • Utilise the Integrated Management System to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Investigate, diagnose and perform trade related maintenance
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks
  • Regularly check success of the PM schedule in the field
  • Liaise with other sections and departments
