PART TIME LECTURER - LECTURER LAW
Overview
To teach/lecture allocated modules, engage and prepare students for assessments, manage general student administrative support, and develop assessments. Assist in tracking and analyzing academic results to evaluate module performance.
Requirements
- LLM (Master of Laws) NQF Level 9
- Admitted attorney
- Practical experience with attorneys’ bookkeeping and legal trust accounting
- Strong knowledge of law firm accounting practices and trust account management
- 1 year Lecturing or Formal Tutoring
- 1 year of industry-specific experience in area of specialisation will be advantageous
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements
- Manage resources including academic materials
- Update Learning Management System and provide feedback to students
- Monitor student engagement and assessment submission
- Attend and participate in academic meetings
- Support Part-time Lecturers with faculty requirements
- Develop and design Teaching-Learning materials
- Assist with student registration and orientation
- Conduct scholarly research and deliver set research outputs
- Complete academic professional development interventions
