QA Automation Engineer (Banking)
Overview
iqbusiness is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a high-performing Agile engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and driving an automation-first testing strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software across a complex, client-facing digital platform. This role requires a strong technical QA professional with hands-on automation development experience, capable of designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks while contributing to continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation.
- Proven experience delivering testing solutions within Agile software development environments.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale web applications and APIs.
- Financial Services or Banking experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Establish and drive an automation-first testing strategy.
- Design, build, and maintain robust automated test frameworks.
- Ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.
- Work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, and Solution Architects.
