Quality Control Officer

Overview

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for overseeing the review of systems, processes, and documentation necessary to ensure that high-quality data is collected, particularly in the context of health and demographic surveillance.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree/diploma in Health or Social Science or equivalent education
  • Valid GCP certificate
  • At least 2 years of clinical research experience
  • Clinical or research experience in TB/HIV care
  • Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land or air if required
  • Understanding of HIV/Aids and TB
  • Understanding of health and demographic surveillance systems
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, and routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics
  • Computer literate
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office
