Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Regional Security Manager who will lead security operations across a region, ensuring effective implementation and deployment of security controls, management of security personnel, and reduction of shrink and operational risk.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Security or Risk Management
- 5-7 years’ experience in retail security or loss prevention
Responsibilities
- Implement regional security strategies and loss prevention initiatives
- Manage deployment and effectiveness of security guards and controllers
- Monitor store-level shrink, theft, and security risks
- Ensure effective use of security systems and tools
- Manage and support store-level security personnel and external service providers
- Partner with store managers, regional and divisional teams on security matters
- Collaborate with Head of Security on risk mitigation strategies
- Support and manage investigations and incident resolution
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on security incidents and risks
- Conduct audits and inspections of store security standards
- Escalate high-risk issues and incidents
