Overview
Provide overall assistance to customers through excellent customer service, maintain stock levels, process payments at Point of Sales, and uphold high merchandising standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Up to 6 months’ retail experience
- Minimum 1 Year work experience within retail
Responsibilities
- Report low stock levels, damaged stock, and expired stock to management
- Assist with stock counting and general stocktaking
- Assist with loading and off-loading of stock
- Ensure products are presented neatly on shelves and restock when needed
- Maintain accurate pricing and report discrepancies
- Handle merchandise carefully to prevent losses
- Build displays for promotions and ensure timely implementation
- Ensure accurate cash flow and follow cash handling procedures
- Establish professional relationships with customers and assist with queries
