Overview
Sales Consultants are responsible for processing orders, resolving queries, communicating specials and launches, and ensuring brand exposure to the right customers.
Requirements
- Matric or higher education preferably Sales/IT qualification
- At least 2 years’ experience in an IT sales environment, preferably including Africa sales
- Proficiency in using Microsoft suite applications
- Relevant brand knowledge and excellent communication engagement
- Business acumen
- Strong customer relationships
- Self-motivated and driven to go beyond the sales targets given
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned customer base and build strong relationships
- Assist with customer enquiries
- Upload relevant contact and company information on dealer base and ERP system
- Manage credit limits and ensure accounts are current
- Accurately process purchase orders on Rectron’s ERP system
- Keep clients updated on order status
- Proactively communicate with resellers regarding order delays
- Regularly check back orders and update customers on ETA’s and price changes
- Raise queries with the correct department and provide feedback
- Stay up to date with the latest products and services
- Complete online training and attend scheduled training sessions
- Communicate clearly and professionally both internally and externally
- Respond to quotes within the Rectron SLA time frame
- Nominate a backup for when not in the office
